10 years adidas, 10 years F50: Lukas Podolski shoots exclusively for our upcoming SoccerBible Magazine as the Issue 2 cover star.

When it comes to his career, Lukas Podokski is defined by three things: Germany, FC Köln and adidas. His career-long love affair with the Three Stripes has spanned every generation of the F50 - from 2004 onwards, he’s laced up in them all. So with the adidas F50 now a decade strong, who better to call on than ‘Prince Poldi’ himself. The legendary adidas athlete fronts SoccerBible Issue 2 and remembers his ten years with the brand and the boots he’s worn from his breakthrough days all the way to winning the World Cup in Brazil.



This wasn’t another PR photo-shoot he could tick off his annual appearance quota. After a morning training session across town, the German international met us at a North London studio in November. No agent, no entourage, just bags full of his own gear ready to talk adidas. He's our kind of player.
