Nike have launched a new documentary mini-series entitled 'Whatever It Takes'. The online series reunites football fans with players from past cycles of 'The Chance', Nike's global search for the best amateur players, and follows them as they battle to succeed in the brutal world of professional sport.
Among the compelling stories covered in the 10-part online series is the story of Tom Rogic as he represents Australia against Brazil. Rogic, one of eight Nike Chance winners in 2010, now plays for Celtic in the Scottish Premier League and is part of the Australia national squad who recently qualified for next year’s World Cup in Brazil.
Nike's 'The Chance' is currently in its third season and has seen thousands of talented youngsters participate in the program, with the elite receiving access to coaching at the top level. Since 2010, 19 of these players have made their dream of becoming a professional a reality.
'Whatever It Takes' pays homage to the success stories from 'The Chance' competitions, and deals with the transformation of these young players as they risk everything to make a name for themselves.
