A concept that was created on a sheer spur of the moment piece of magical thinking. As Rigobert Song looked to lace up his boots at World Cup 1998 in France, he decided to put a yellow PUMA King on his right foot and a yellow PUMA King on his left. Something that will forever live in the memory, it is what the tricks pack is dedicated too. In the words of Song, "you must be bold". Standing out with the confidence in his feet, these boots are about speaking from the ground up. Attention in tow and attitude on point, there's plenty of flavour at a party that packs power.
With design a fundamental of these boots, it's a CMYK palette that forms the base of this two-coloured approach. The left vamp is Pink Glo and the right Safety yellow, connecting to the black heel with a geometric pattern. Attention to detail, it's the aesthetic that's ramped up while the innovation under the hood remains key to the core.
The evoPOWER 1.3 boot keeps the principles of barefoot kicking at its core, with increased flexibility resulting in more kicking power. The evoSPEED is light and responsive, to improve speed and maneuverability. Striking in measure both on the eye and around the foot, they'll light up your living room while they're on the pitch in France. As the summer draws towards us, it's looking brighter by the minute.
The new PUMA Tricks evoPOWER 1.3, evoSPEED SL and evoSPEED 1.5 along with the Tricks evoTRG apparel, ball and evoPOWER gloves hit stores worldwide from the 21 April.
