Visually striking, especially in the black/yellow colourway, the instantly noticeable feature is the exoskeletal support frame that runs across the upper. Not only does this offer increased fit, but aims to keep the foot more secure and stable. The boot also aims to offer more support to the metatarsals without adding any significant weight, a feature UA call "Modular Protection Zone" or MPZ. On the Create Pro this is also benefits from the addition of Under Armour's patented Heat Gear technology, which allows more ventilation and helps with moisture management.

The main upper element of the boot is also perforated, made from a synthetic material designed to be lightweight and responsive. However the most impressive feature the Create Pro lays claim to is the moisture management properties this upper offers, wicking away sweat from the foot to keep it cool and ventilated.

The sole and stud configuration of the Create Pro utilises a feature dubbed "Armour Bound". This is designed to reduce stud pressure and offer increased cushioning, whilst the specific stud placement is the result of research and development aimed to offer increased "metetarsal support and directional stability". Both colour ways will be available in 6 stud soft ground and fixed 14 stud firm /hard ground sole plate.

Our initial play test of the Create Pro gave great feedback and Under Armour have obviously worked hard to develop a series of boots which
offer a great deal of comfort, support and an excellent fit. The toe area is clean and we like the traditional centered lacing system, coupled with a great deal of support in the heel and ankle area. The support frame feature is likely to be a big draw for those who are looking for greater protection and substance from their speed boots.

Available now to pre-order in the UK and US, the Under Armour Create Pro has an expected retail price of £110 GBP for the soft ground edition and £100 GBP for the firm ground edition.
